Sky Hall Toyota (Toyota City General Gymnasium)

This multi-purpose gymnasium hosts a wide variety of sports events, including basketball, volleyball, and table tennis. In addition to a main arena, it is fully equipped with a sub-arena, training rooms, and conference rooms, serving as a central hub for community sports activities. The facility also features an on-site shop where you can purchase light meals and beverages. Ample parking is available, and during events, additional temporary parking is also provided.

Toyota City Museum of Art / Toyota City Museum

The Toyota City Museum of Art is an art museum showcasing outstanding domestic and international works, with a focus on modern and contemporary art. Its sophisticated architectural design and garden are highlights, and the museum also features a café and museum shop. The adjacent Toyota City Museum, which reopened in 2024, offering rich exhibits that let visitors experience Toyota City’s history and culture. The section where you can learn about the automobile industry and regional development is especially a must-see. This destination, offering both art and history, is highly recommended for people of all ages.

Kōrankei

This is one of Aichi Prefecture’s leading natural attractions. The gorge stretching along the Tomoe River offers breathtaking seasonal beauty: fresh spring greenery, clear summer streams, vibrant autumn foliage, and picturesque winter snowscapes. Well-maintained walking paths wind through the area, lined with tea houses and souvenir shops, where you can savor local delicacies like Goheimochi.
Autumn, in particular, transforms the gorge into one of the Tokai region’s most spectacular sights, as approximately 4,000 maple trees paint the landscape in brilliant hues. At night, the area is beautifully illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere. During the autumn foliage season, numerous food stalls appear, offering a wide array of local gourmet delights and sweets. Multiple parking lots are available, and shuttle bus services are also provided during the peak autumn foliage season.

Aichi Expo Memorial Park (Morikoro Park)

A vast park built on the former site of the 2005 World Expo. Boasting a spacious lawn area and cycling courses, it is popular among families and active individuals. Within the park, you’ll also find a heated pool, an ice skating rink, and the “Children’s General Center” equipped with large play equipment, ensuring children can have fun all day long.
Expo legacies such as “Satsuki and Mei’s House” from Ghibli are also open for viewing. With various restaurants and shops available, it’s also ideal for picnics. Its spacious parking lot ensures convenient access.

From Shin-Toyota Station, take the train bound for Kōzōji and get off at Yagusa.
At Yagusa, transfer to the Linimo and take the train bound for Fujigaoka.

Ghibli Park

A park facility that brings to life the enchanting world of Studio Ghibli’s masterpiece films. Comprising five distinct areas, including the central “Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse,” visitors can fully immerse themselves in the magical atmosphere of the movies. Ghibli-themed exhibitions, a theater, and cafes are also located within the park, along with popular shops offering a wide range of original merchandise. Beyond the themed areas, the park also boasts expansive natural landscapes and dedicated play areas, perfect for families to relax and enjoy their time. While ample parking is available, visitors are recommanded to use public transportation during peak hours. Advance reservation and purchase are required for tickets, and we recommend making reservations as early as possible.
